Popular Ghanaian highlife musician and songwriter, Kwabena Kwabena, will mark his 20th anniversary in the music industry with a special concert. The event is set to take place on February 14, 2025, at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
This concert is a tribute to his two-decade journey in music, where he aims to entertain his fans and show appreciation for their unwavering support. Kwabena Kwabena will take the stage as the headline act, accompanied by other iconic artists who will deliver remarkable performances.
In addition to presenting some of his latest work, Kwabena Kwabena promises to deliver unforgettable performances for his loyal fans.
"On February 14, 2025, at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre, I will perform my yearly Valentine’s Day Concert to start the festivities. As I commemorate 20 years in the business, it will be enormous," he shared.
The celebrated artist also revealed that he is working on his eighth album, which will be released as part of his anniversary celebrations. He added, “I’m currently working on my eighth record. As part of the celebrations for my 20 years in music, it will undoubtedly be held outside.”
With a remarkable legacy that includes hit songs such as ‘Fa Me Saa’, ‘Daakye’, ‘Ahyesi’, ‘Aso’, ‘Bibini’, and ‘Debi’, Kwabena Kwabena, whose real name is George Kwabena Adu, first entered the music scene in the early 2000s. Throughout his career, he has remained a strong presence in the highlife genre, competing with his peers and leaving a lasting impact on the industry.
The artist, with six albums to his name, has received numerous awards, including accolades for best songwriting and vocal performance. As one of Ghana's most dedicated highlife musicians, Kwabena Kwabena continues to push the boundaries of Ghanaian music on the international stage.
